God forbid a man have differing opinions from you. He wants a more satisfactory president, in addition to pocketing some change while directing big budget films. It’s only common sense that he’d be voting republican for this election. The way certain liberal media outlets (*cough*huffpost*cough*) are trying to spin this, to make him out to be some sort of hypocritical villain, is ridiculous. It seems like you can’t lean one way or the other without being stapled to a certain political affiliation by outsiders. Stop gobbling up all the liberal bullshit you’re fed on a daily basis and think outside of the terms of black and white. Eastwood has proven himself in the past to be more of a moderate than anything else, despite having registered republican. So would all the thoughtless, simpleton bloggers and tweeters take a step back and relax before deciding to bash one of Hollywood’s few outspoken actors; a guy who is actually willing to share his honest, unfiltered opinion on issues. It’s not like he’s a gay hating, abortion denying piece of shit - despite backing a candidate whom, at least on the surface, is. 

We all have our reasons for voting and supporting certain candidates. In my opinion - Obama sucks, Romney sucks, and we need a third (and probably fourth) major political party in the mix. But, of course, we won’t get that because it would “complicate” shit too much and be far too great of a gamble. Let the simple minded, self-labeled dipshits of America continue to compact themselves into one category or another, while this country divides itself along a clear, straight line. Stop going to bat for one party or fighting against another without seeing both sides of the spectrum. America only sucks because you’re letting it suck.
